Solutions for profitable cultivation of peat fields

MAA-akatemia and Double Round will organize an information event on September 3rd from 10–11 am to introduce the Future of Peat Fields – Solutions for Profitable and Sustainable Cultivation training, which will start in the autumn.

The information session will briefly review the content of the training and discuss how information about the training could be shared within your own networks. The session is aimed at educational institutions, municipalities, MTK unions and associations, and other organizations in the field.

Information about training

Course: The future of peat fields – solutions for profitable and sustainable cultivation

Date: The course starts on October 20, 2026, and will be implemented as a short intensive period before the turn of the year.

Funder: The Finnish National Board of Education's Service Centre for Continuing Learning and Employment (Jotpa).

Why is the training being reorganized?

Last spring's training was very popular and attracted 120 participants. However, due to the busy spring season, not everyone who wanted to attend was able to attend, so this fall we are offering a new opportunity to complete the training in a short, intensive period.
